Gigs
Colin is an accomplished sideman who also has experience leading bands in clubs. Given his background playing in lots of different styles as well as his humble and cooperative approach to music and life, Colin has a lot to bring to the table for any artist or bandleader looking to round out their sound with a player who is well grounded in serving the song that also knows when and where to stretch out appropriately as well as for venues or contractors who need quality entertainment for brunch, dinner, weddings, or other private events.
Recording
Colin is available for a variety of recording situations. He utilizes his home studio to create and send guitar tracks as well as produce demos and beats for songwriters and rappers as well as more produced and polished clips for artists and content creators.
Lessons
Colin combines his real world gigging experience as well wisdom and analytical techniques he learned while pursuing a Commercial Music degree at Belmont University to teach guitar and music theory lessons. While he specializes in rock, jazz, and country, there’s no musical wormhole that he’ll shy away from and he’s happy to provide instruction that is tailored to the needs of each student. Lessons cover anything from technique, learning songs, music theory, ear training, gig/performance skills and consultation, transcription skills, and improvisational approaches. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic he is offering lessons via Facetime and Skype.
